Things I love: Red lipstain

Lately I've been wearing a lot of red lipstick. But the truth is, wearing red lipstick is exhausting. Making sure it stays on your lips and not all over your teeth and face is a constant worry. I found this great lip stain by Revlon that is amazing. It stays in place, doesn't feather and washes off incredibly easily. It's called Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain + Balm, in Gothic. (which is the classic red color I've been using.)

Fruit salsa and cinnamon chips

Source: The Girl Who Ate Everything

  • 2 kiwis, peeled and diced
  • 2 Golden Delicious apples - peeled, cored and diced
  • 8 ounces raspberries
  • 1 pound strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar (more or less to taste, but probably could be substituted altogether)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (Same probably goes for this)
  • 3 tablespoons fruit preserves, any flavor
  • 10 large flour tortillas
Butter flavored cooking spray or melted butter
2 tablespoon cinnamon sugar
*Might be fun to play with different fruit - maybe mix in some mango, etc.

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix kiwis, Golden Delicious apples, raspberries, strawberries, white sugar, brown sugar and fruit preserves. Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. Coat one side of each flour tortilla with butter flavored cooking spray (or melted butter). Cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle wedges with desired amount of cinnamon sugar. Spray again with cooking spray (not necessary if using melted butter).
  4. Bake in the preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes. Repeat with any remaining tortilla wedges. Allow to cool approximately 15 minutes. Serve with chilled fruit mixture
